There is an explicit language warning on the podcast, but I didn&#8217;t hear anything offensive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Programmatic control over protected ranges\" href=\"http:\/\/googledevelopers.blogspot.ca\/2015\/02\/control-protected-ranges-and-sheets-in.html\" rel=\"nofollow\">Programmatic control over protected ranges<\/a> has been added to Google spreadsheets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On my Pivot Table blog, you can see the pros and cons of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pivot-table.com\/2015\/01\/28\/saving-source-data-with-pivot-table-file\/\">saving the Source Data<\/a> with a Pivot Table file<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Shannon O&#8217;Donnell spent a year <a title=\"travelling the world\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/travel\/travel_news\/article-2967127\/How-travel-world-12k-Backpacker-reveals-secret-global-travel-budget-tip-ll-need-spreadsheet.html\" rel=\"nofollow\">travelling the world<\/a>, and tracked all her expenses in a Google spreadsheet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Add your own spreadsheet functions to a website table with the <a title=\"Totalizer extension\" href=\"http:\/\/dottech.org\/173466\/how-to-add-spreadsheet-functions-to-website-tables-in-chrome-tip\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Totalizer extension<\/a> for Google Chrome.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>In an 11 minute video, Dave Bruns <a href=\"https:\/\/exceljet.net\/plc\/excel-formulas-23-tips-to-save-you-time-today\">shares 23 Excel formula tips<\/a>, and you can download his sample file, to help remember all those tips.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Spreadsheets are already fun, but Tableau wants to make them even more exciting, with its <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fastcompany.com\/3042357\/tableau-elastic-tinder-like-data-visualization\">newest smartphone app, Elastic<\/a>. No info on expected release date or pricing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Jerome Cukier, data visualization designer at Facebook, looks at some of the new problems with dashboards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The Investintech blog shares <a href=\"http:\/\/www.investintech.com\/resources\/blog\/archives\/5430-excel-data-tips.html\">9 simple tips for working with Excel data<\/a>.
